Care Center
Our ministry partner, Care Pregnancy Resource Center in Southaven, remains a life-giving presence in our community—providing hope, truth, and compassionate care to women and men facing unexpected pregnancies. As a Christ-centered ministry, Care ensures that no one has to navigate confusing or overwhelming decisions alone. From the very first conversation, each person is treated with dignity, respect, and genuine care, reminding them that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.
Over the past several months, Care has consistently provided a wide range of free and confidential services, including pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and personalized counseling. In addition to those initial services, they offer ongoing support through prenatal and parenting classes, childbirth education, infant safety and CPR training, mentoring, relationship counseling, post-abortion support, and material assistance such as infant supplies. Their holistic approach addresses both immediate needs and long-term stability—helping families build a strong foundation for the future.
One powerful testimony captures the heart of Care’s impact:
I want to thank you all so much for looking after me throughout my pregnancy! I came in a little later than most and didn't know the first thing about what was going on. But you all talked with me and cared for me with such kindness, grace, and passion just like all the other moms. When it was time, you sent me and little Silas off to deliver with the sweetest prayer, and even though I don't fall into that part of Christianity anymore, I could feel the love and devotion flowing through all of you and it was very much appreciated. I couldn't ask for a better set of women to see us through and send us off. You all are living not just through Christ but live LIKE Christ. I can't thank you enough, I hope to be able to see you soon with my son so you can finally see the second person you were helping through all this.
I also want to specifically thank Miss Claudia, she was an absolute rockstar, and even just talking with her about things going on in my life made things better. She made me feel seen and heard and comforted through it all, even if I wasn't seen by her directly and only chatted in passing. Thank you 💖
