Building Fathers, Changing Generations

As we approach the one-year milestone of our Life Choices Fatherhood Ministry, we celebrate what God has accomplished! In recent weeks, we’ve experienced a surge of young men walking through our doors—twelve new visitors just this week alone. Currently, thirteen young fathers are engaging in one-on-one discipleship with mentors, growing as men, husbands, and fathers. The most exciting news? In the past month, five of these young men have prayed to accept Christ! God is genuinely transforming lives through this ministry.

As the ministry grows, so does our need for faithful men to serve. We’re seeking new one-on-one mentors to disciple young fathers using a simple, gospel-centered approach based on 2 Timothy 2:2. All materials are provided, and meetings are flexible to fit your schedule. We’re also launching a new role—Center Greeters—who serve during ultrasound hours at our Raleigh LaGrange center. These men play a vital role by welcoming young fathers, introducing them to our mentoring program, and helping them take that important first step toward transformation.

The beautiful result of this work includes men choosing purity, preparing for marriage, finding stability for their families, and even inviting their mentors to baby showers and hospital rooms. One young man, Reggie, was the very first father to visit our center. I had the privilege of leading him to Christ, and we’ve met almost every week since. His story reminds us that behind every first visit is a heart open to hope.
