LH Kids - CentriKid Camp
This summer, our LH Kids had an incredible opportunity to attend CentriKid Camp, a week filled with worship, learning, adventure, and unforgettable memories. From the moment they arrived, our children were immersed in an environment designed to help them grow in their faith while building meaningful friendships and having an amazing time.
One of the most impactful parts of the week was the opportunity for kids to worship together and learn more about God. Through engaging Bible teaching, worship services, and small-group discussions, campers were encouraged to deepen their understanding of God's love and His purpose for their lives. They were challenged to grow in their relationship with Christ and discover how their faith can shape the way they live each day.
Beyond the worship sessions and Bible study, campers had countless opportunities to experience God's creation firsthand. Spending time outdoors allowed them to explore nature, appreciate the beauty of the world around them, and reflect on the greatness of the Creator. Whether walking between activities, enjoying the scenery, or simply spending time with friends outside, campers were reminded of God's presence in every part of creation.
Of course, CentriKid is also known for its exciting activities, and our LH Kids certainly embraced every opportunity for adventure. Throughout the week, they challenged themselves with activities such as rock climbing, where they learned perseverance and confidence as they reached new heights. Others enjoyed kayaking, navigating the water while creating lasting memories with friends. One of the camp favorites was gaga ball, which quickly became a source of laughter, friendly competition, and nonstop energy.
These activities were about much more than recreation. They helped our kids develop teamwork, courage, and resilience while strengthening friendships with one another. Camp provided a unique setting where children could step outside of their comfort zones, encourage each other, and celebrate each other's successes.
Perhaps one of the greatest blessings of the week was seeing relationships grow—not only between campers but also between kids and their leaders. Shared experiences, meaningful conversations, and moments of encouragement helped build connections that will continue long after camp has ended.
As we reflect on this special week, we are grateful for all that God accomplished in the lives of our children. We celebrate the spiritual growth, the new friendships, the laughter, and the memories that were made. We are thankful for the leaders who invested their time and energy into making the experience meaningful and for the families who entrusted us with their children.
CentriKid Camp was more than just a fun summer getaway. It was a week of growing in faith, discovering new strengths, building community, and experiencing the joy that comes from following Christ together. We look forward to hearing the stories that continue to emerge from this experience and watching how God continues to work in the hearts of our LH Kids in the months ahead.
