A dear friend of Young Life says, “Ministry without prayer is the highest form of arrogance.” We know that the ministry of Memphis Capernaum Young Life is impossible without the Lord’s guidance, provision, blessing and vision. So we pray. We must pray!
Thank you for joining us in prayer this March!
We are deeply appreciative that you would take the time to pray for our ministry every weekday for a whole month!
As we begin this month of prayer, we want to focus our hearts before the Lord. We want to begin in a posture of gratitude for all the Lord has done and will do. Memphis Capernaum Young Life only makes sense in the redemptive shadow of the cross.
We cannot begin to do what we have set out to do (introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith) without first returning to the foot of the cross and giving thanks for the great gift of our redemption through Jesus' loving sacrifice.
Take a few moments to....
-Rest in the arms of our Lord and thank Him for the finished work of the Cross
- Thank him for allowing MCYL to join Him in the Kingdom work of sharing the Gospel with high school students and young adults with disabilities, that they may know him more deeply

Ministry Update
March is barely here and so much has happened! In spite of crazy weather, Club ministries started at the end of January. Since then we have had Love Clubs and Birthday Club in February, and tonight we will have St. Patrick's Day Club and more to come!
Many of our friends also danced the night away at Night To Shine, while our leaders were volunteers at the event. TigerLIFE and CCTP (College Career Transition Program) students spent a day learning about opportunities across Memphis for employment, gaining resources and growing in their advocating skills! Young Life College Capernaum (YLCC) was a part of the event as a community supporter and resource.
But the greatest joy are all the new friends and families we have had the honor of getting to know over the past few months! It continues to be so humbling as families allow us to be part of their students lives, and we get to share the greatest story we know ... That Jesus Christ knows them, loves them, values them and wants to be in relationship with them!
Trivia Night is BACK!!!
Mark your calendars and SAVE THE DATE for our in-person Trivia Night! Last year was so much fun and we had such a great turn out (thanks to you!) that we have moved locations because we could not fit one more team under the pavillon!
