Advance the Church
As a church planting church, Living Hope seeks to equip and train church planters and the church body on how to best support, encourage, and engage with church planters. Advance the Church is a great opportunity for Living Hope members and attenders to learn alongside church planters for the mission of making disciples. Please consider attending Advance the Church here at Living Hope on November 9-10. You can register at advancethechurch.com by October 27. If you would like to find out more, Stephen Roberts will be in the Welcome Center between services to answer any questions or assist you in registering.
Health Discipleship Ministry | Men’s Event
Men, whether in our teens or 70’s, we are constantly reminded that if we’re not working out several times a week and getting our heart racing, pumping iron until our sleeves burst, or running marathons, we are fitness failures. Adding anxiety to guilt, which foods do we eat? Some foods buff us up, some may kill us. What’s the real truth? Does our age matter? The bigger questions are “how is our zeal to become fit influenced and motivated by the Gospel? Is there direction for the man within the grace of Jesus? Can we be a city on a hill and workout at the same time?” Join us at 7pm, Oct 26 at LH:Piperton as the Health Discipleship Ministry sponsors a night for men to talk about fitness and their faith. There will be open discussion with a panel representing all ages from the 20’s to the 70’s. We will share the good, the not so good, and hopefully leave knowing better how to renew our inner and outer man. If you have questions, please contact Zack Taylor, firstname.lastname@example.org, or the church office, email@example.com.
