Living Hope believes in equipping and sending church planters to start healthy, Christ-exalting churches; that’s why we are investing in the Leaders Collective Church Planter Cohort. Our Mission Pastor, Greg Jackson, and I gathered with four other church planters for a week of training in Raleigh, NC on August 28-31 – the first of 10 gatherings over the next year. Led by Elliot Grudem, Leaders Collective exists to help church planters develop ministries that will last. Leaders Collective is about developing the planter and his family to be able to sustain a faithful and fruitful ministry. Over the next year we will explore spiritual formation, self care, emotional and cultural intelligence, marriage and family, and leadership. We will learn from experienced pastors and leaders in various fields while eating great food and building relationships that will last a lifetime.
The first gathering of the Leaders Collective cohort was an amazing and enriching experience. The cohort is diverse, and we all come with our own experiences and cultures. It was amazing how God has already knitted us together as brothers. Every man is eager to learn, grow, and develop. Our cohort is composed of Nick Braunschneider planting an Episcopal church in the Lake Nona area of Orlando, FL; Rayshawn Graves who will be planting a church in Richmond, VA; Raphael Mnkandhla who is replanting City Church in Williamsport, PA; Tim Moroz planting Gospel Community Church in Providence, RI; Living Hope’s own Greg Jackson; and myself.
Living Hope, you are playing a huge role in the support and sending of each of these men. Through your LH360 giving and our partnership with Leaders Collective you are personally investing in each of these men’s calling, development, and sending. Thank you!
Pray for us as we gather again this week here at Living Hope for our second gathering. If you want to learn more about what Leaders Collective is and what we do, visit leaderscollective.com.
